Before going into union with my twin flame, and while going through Kundalini, there were many strange cleansing experiences. Many of those cleansing experiences came about, for me, due to a great deal of meditation and deep self-inquiry over the years.  I was familiar with cleansing experiences, but I was not familiar with the mirroring experiences that some twin flames go through.  This one was a bit like a combination of the two: mirroring and cleansing, the cleansing part being very symbolic of moving into union.

This bizarre mirroring/cleansing experience occurred the night before I was to meet my twin flame in person and go into union with him.

The night before his plane was to arrive, I was cleaning my house to get ready for him to come over.  I was cleaning my windows inside and out.  Later that night, we were talking on the phone.  He told me he had been cleaning his windows too, which shocked me.  He said that for some odd reason, he felt compelled to clean his windows, something he had never done before. 

It amazed us both to know that we had both been cleaning our windows at the same time!

 It is often said that twins will mirror each other.  We were not only physically cleaning our windows; we had been cleaning the dirt off of our windows of perception for many years. 

There were different spiritual cleansings we both went through before we knew each other.  Those cleansings are what helped us move beyond mental and emotional darkness enough so we could eventually go into union with each other.   If our minds (ego)/emotional bodies had been too dirty or clouded, it would have blocked the pure light of the heart that naturally pulls twins together.  The window cleaning mirroring was just another big sign, among many, that we were twins, and we were going into union.

In pure nondual reality, even the mind being a separate entity is an illusion.  It is all the same.  All is Consciousness.  But the mind must be cleansed enough to perceive that it is not separate from the Whole and never was.  Its contents must be seen through, like a clear window without any streaks on it.
