I’ve just been presented with a perfect example of one of the ways this technique can work – around 1 hour ago the people in the UK took part in a clap for our carers challenge to show gratitude for all our HNS staff working on the frontline. I stood at my front door and clapped as many of my neighbours did. When I got back inside I suddenly started crying… a lot of thoughts passed through my head, I should stop crying I’m one of the lucky ones, I should be stronger, my vibration should always be high and why am I sad… I used Amy’s method and didn’t label it – I let it come up and felt the sensations. After a while I realised my heart was bursting with love, my tears were tears of joy because for the first time in a long time I felt truly connected to everyone – it felt like home.
I’ve so glad I didn’t suppress that emotion – I would have missed a vital lesson.
